Reduce caries experience by: expanding delivery into settings children frequent, such as schools; increasing the number of dental providers serving low-income children; widening case management to ensure children receive preventive dental care and treatment.

    for providers to bill Denti-Cal for dental care delivered outside clinic settings

    via school-based oral health screenings, caregiver education, fluoride varnish, and referrals to dental care

  • Expand oral health services at SFUSD

    more schools and grades receiving screenings and oral health education

  • Increase number of dental providers serving low-income young children and pregnant women

    by educating current and future dental providers to serve 0-3 year olds and pregnant women

  • Expand case management

    for children with dental treatment needs to ensure identified children receive treatment
